About the Magazine
Fotografija was founded 1997 and is published bi-annually. The magazine takes on photography as an important element of contemporary visual culture. Every issue focuses on specific topic such as performative photography, film and photography, documentary photography, death and photography etc... Topics are tackled with reviews, interviews, historical overviews, portfolios and through theory of photography. In addition to the articles addressing the topics every edition of the magazine includes also interviews with the world's most important photographers, artists and theorists, as well as portfolios of major international artists, reviews of national and international photographic monographs and reviews of the major theoretical works that cover photography. Fotografija focuses primary on the region of South East Europe and Mediterranean.
